It includes 8K PDRAM, 8 FMMUs for logical-to-physical address mapping, and 8 SyncManagers for data exchange between the EtherCAT network and local application. The device supports buffered mode for real-time updates or mailbox mode for handshake-based guaranteed data transfer without data loss.
